Overview
Reading Hospital, part of Tower Health, an award winning 600+ bed tertiary care teaching hospital and Medical Center (rated as a top hospital by the Leapfrog Group, Healthgrades and the Joint Commission) is seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician to join its well-established, busy, and rapidly growing Pediatric Program .
Responsibilities
The Practice Provides:
- A total of 6 Pediatric Hospitalists, 3 of which are Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalists
- Group of collegial and well-trained Pediatricians throughout the community
- 19 Pediatric Beds with approximately 5-7 admissions per day
- No coverage for deliveries or newborn nursery required
- An 18-bed self-contained pediatric emergency department within our 120-bed ED
- An extremely supportive administration that is providing the resources to grow the service

Qualifications
Requirements and Qualifications
- Doctorate in Medicine (M.D. or D.O.)
- Valid license to practice; board certified in pediatrics
- Experience a plus, but will consider new residents
- EPIC experience helpful
- Excels in communicating sensitive and/or adverse information
- Sound judgment and expert decision-making abilities
- Analytical thinker and complex problem-solver
